Pierce's documentary-style horror smash THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK (1972) had been playing theaters across the U.S. for over a year at the time of this discount drive-in booking in Wayne, NJ on August 31, 1973, so two different promotional gimmicks were employed to drum up business: a "spook-mobile" and an appearance by the Fouke Monster.
