The double feature DVD of DIRTY MARY, CRAZY LARRY and RACE WITH THE DEVIL that comes out next Tuesday features the same transfers and extras that were on the Anchor Bay DVDs from 6 years ago. The one new supplement that was commissioned for this release -- an hour-long documentary about stunt coordinator Paul Nuckles, titled ONE HELLUVA RIDE -- was left off the DVD at the eleventh hour because of "street date" issues. However, there is some talk of it possibly surfacing on a RACE WITH THE DEVIL Blu-Ray at a later date.

Shout! Factory seems to be experiencing a lot of these "street date" issues of late. They are obviously double dipping, hoping that people will re-buy the movie when the extras-laden Blu-ray streets in a few months. I'm really tired of video companies pulling this nonsense.
