Ah, BLOOD STALKERS. And director Robert Morgan has planned not one, not two, but THREE sequels. Chris, when did that newspaper clipping appear, and in what newspaper?
I met the star of this odd little film two years ago at Wonderfest. I told him every person I knew who saw it did so in a theater which only had it for one week. He had a number of amusing stories about the "sequeals".
Morgan is an Ohio native (like me) and a hoot to talk to, both about his films and about bigfoot. According to Morgan, he was the guy who had to cut Harold Sakata down from the noose when his harness slipped during the filming of IMPULSE (this was the incident where Bill Shatner broke his finger trying to keep Sakata from actually hanging while the crew scrambled to cut him down).
The last 15 minutes of BLOOD STALKERS -- pure heaven. To me, at least.

Damn, I thought I had included that info. It was a news wire story, found in the Gazette Telegraph, 9/26/76, p.12-F

Brian, I believe that footage of Sakata nearly choking to death will be included in THEY CAME FROM THE SWAMP.
