The idea of sitting through a pairing of IGOR AND THE LUNATICS and SPLATTER UNIVERSITY gives me new insight into why drugs were so popular amongst 42nd Street regulars of that era.

Alas, Richard W. Haines. Auteur of trash-film, inspiration for PCP addiction.

I just love these pix of the marquees on the 42nd St !
is it your own collection?
I wish there is a computer geek out there to re-create the Times Square and 42nd St in full 3D like in the videogames!
keep on!

i watched "passage of the dragon" tonight. it's a very good martial arts film. it probably was wasted on the 42nd street audience. showing it at at a grindhouse cinema is like putting a platter of caviar in front of a group of hamburger-loving people. (and that's not much of an exaggeration.)
