I've decided to kick off the Claudia Jennings Weekend Blog-a-Thon with this heartfelt and loving remembrance by her friend, actress Sally Kirkland, which appeared in the Los Angeles Times a few weeks after Jennings' tragic death on October 3rd, 1979.
